“ Amazing atmosphere, great customer service as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with joy. Food was delicious with authentic flavors Always trying to find a good authentic experience I had menudo which was so delicious the flavor was so on point reminded of places in California I would spend with my mom. My boyfriend had th blacken fish with rice and beans and he really enjoyed it. We had some fun shots we will definitely be back soon. ”
“ As a South Austinite this spot, Don Dario's, is the place you go whether you are seeing a band across the highway at a music venue or you are passing through on IH 35 and want a good Tex-Mex food. There is plenty of space to bring large groups here too. I often see many work and family groups and Don Dario's has the space for you either inside or outside on their lovely patio. Food is made to order and is piping hot when it comes out so watch out! Be sure to order a tasty fruity (or non-fruity) margarita too. The bar area is a whole vibe in itself and if you are on your own or with a friend I will encourage you to sit at the bar. No wait to eat and drink there. Breakfast or dinner you cannot go wrong on ordering anything off of their menu. I really like their breakfast plates and pairing it with a Senorita Mimosa - a splash of cherry juice and a cherry at the bottom of a traditional mimosa brunch drink. Parking won't ever be a thing here because there is plenty and the parking lot is lit up as well so it is safe. ”

“ The food was amazing! I personally love the chicken mole enchiladas and the fajita tacos. The service was amazing too! They were very nice. Once you leave you get a personal goodbye from the owners which I think is cool. I love the ambiance around the bar including the restroom hallway. ”
“ A gem in south Austin that's not going anywhere soon! We decided to check Don Dario's out one Friday afternoon after driving by it every time we have to head into town. We were greeted right away and sat immediately. Our waiter was so very kind (and funny!) and took good care of us. To start, we had chips and a delicious salsa - a little more spice than some places, which I liked very much. Also, we ordered a queso dip, which is a silky yellow cheese that you can jazz up with other items if you desire. Ordered 2 chicken enchilada meals, one with green sauce and one with queso sauce. Both were good, with a good potion size. Nothing fancy or super different, just what we were looking for. Our drinks were kept full the whole time, which was great. Not sure how this place would be on a busy day (it is larger than expected inside), so will be back to try more. ”
